Dr Marcus Mehta is a Cosmetic Medical Doctor practising at Kirkland Lodge in the beautiful Minster town of Southwell in Nottinghamshire. His clinical time is also spent working at the world-renowned Dr Rita Rakus clinic in Knightsbridge directly opposite Harrods. Alongside his Brother Dr Tristan Mehta he is also a Director of the UK's largest Facial Aesthetics training school in the UK, Harley Academy. After having worked for many years in London as an Aesthetic Doctor he wanted to bring that level of care, professionalism and clinical excellence to the East Midlands founding Kirkland Lodge clinic in Southwell.
After completing a three year research degree in stem cell therapy, skin ageing and human anatomy Dr Mehta went on to complete his medical degree. He also benefits from postgraduate training in clinical dermatology from The Queen Mary University London studying at the world famous Blizzard Cutaneous Research centre for skin.
The Dr Rita Rakus clinic is a world leading multi-award winning practice that has been established for over 20 years. Dr Rakus is a true pioneer in Aesthetic medicine internationally. The clinic is located in the heart of Knightsbridge London directly facing Harrods and the popular Laduree cafe. Dr Marcus Mehta offers appointments to see patients here in one of the largest non-surgical cosmetic medicine practices in the UK. Keeping up to date is key in this industry and alongside his Brother Dr Tristan Mehta, Marcus is a Director of the largest postgraduate training school in the UK for Doctors, Dentists and nurses- Harley Academy. Based in Central London Harley Academy trains 1000’s of medical professionals in a whole range of aesthetic treatments ranging from injectable treatments through to skin rejuvenation.
In 2015 Harley Academy wrote the first Level 7 postgraduate qualification in Aesthetic medicine with the UK government and Health Education England. It is now the busiest training centre in the UK ensuring all the graduates are trained to the highest level possible. Dr Mehta is a lead lecturer and examiner for the postgraduate aesthetic qualification.
