My name is Lee and I qualified as a nurse in 2007. I have spent the last 13 years working in Accident and Emergency. Whilst working within this area, my career progressed and I qualified as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner. I continued with my learning and went on to gain a Masters degree in Advanced Clinical Practice. As a senior nurse working within the Emergency Unit, my main role was Educational Lead for all Emergency Nurse Practitioners working in the Department. It was my responsibility to ensure all Practitioners were trained to the high standards required by the Department in order to see, treat and discharge patients safely.
I have always had a keen interest in aesthetics and when the opportunity arose to complete training in this area, I was very excited to to put myself forward. Since starting my aesthetics training 3 years ago, I have now completed both Foundation and Advanced courses in Botox and Dermal Filler treatments plus many other related courses within these areas. I am passionate about teaching and guiding trainees in aesthetics and I also provide training and mentoring for new healthcare professionals who want to start their aesthetics journey.
I am a friendly, approachable person with a keen eye for detail, which is why I feel the aesthetics industry is where I will further excel. Being a safe practitioner has always been my number one priority whilst working as a nurse and this is something I continue with in my aesthetics career. It is important to me that my clients are fully informed and involved in all decisions made about their treatments.
