I would like to introduce myself to you and tell you a little more about my journey and beliefs for you as a possible patient considering having a treatment so that you can feel confident in your choice.
I started my career in the aesthetics field ten years ago in 2011. At this point in time, it was a medical only field and dare I say it, a lot safer. I was still working as a Community Nurse at that point after qualifying as a Registered Nurse within the NHS in 1999 and at this point I decided to mix a love l had for facial beauty, art and my nursing background and I founded my first business offering basic aesthetic treatments.
I had as a nurse worked within in many different teams always looking to update and keep my skills on point and moving with the times, so not much has changed there you will be pleased to hear. I finally left the NHS in 2014, as my little business was growing mainly from patient word of mouth and I decided to focus solely on facial aesthetics. I am currently back working within the NHS assisting with the covid vaccination programme roll out.
I am an accredited Save Face practitioner, I am also a member of ACE World, the International College of Aesthetic Nurses and the British Dermatological Nursing Group. I am currently studying for an M.Sc in Aesthetic Medicine as patient safety is my main focus, therefore keeping up to date with evidence based practice is central to my practice.
