“I have been a nurse for more than 30 years, a nurse practitioner working at an advanced level in general practice for 17 years, and an independent nurse prescriber for 17 years. I have been focusing the last nine years on aesthetic practice and dermatology as well as being a nurse practitioner in general practice. I left the NHS in May of 2016 and now work exclusively in Facial Aesthetics. I gained dermatology skills and knowledge through studying with the Royal College of General Practice and UCLAN Preston. I put these skills to work in general practice as a nurse practitioner and independent nurse prescriber. I assess and treat a range of skin conditions including mole assessment, eczema, rosacea, psoriasis and acne.My education and training in Aesthetics has been provided by leading aesthetic doctors and nurses within the industry via the companies who make the products and who have developed Academies offering conferences and regular training programs. It is a delight to find the expert doctors and surgeons are happy to network with Aesthetic Practitioners and provide ongoing support and advice. The world of Aesthetics is constantly changing and it is of the utmost importance to keep up with the changes, to maintain and develop my skills. Self study and obtaining current information on the industry utilising Aesthetic Journals are necessary to remain a current, knowledgable Practitioner. I find the world of Facial Aesthetics an exciting and constantly stimulating area to work in. I have developed a passion for the artistry of these procedures and through my post-graduate studies in Dermatology; a passion for the skin, an amazing organ, which responds well to the expert treatments and products available, skin health, skin tone and radiance can all be improved resulting in wonderful anti-aging effects. I am constantly assessing products and treatments to be able to offer a wide range of treatments to suit skin types, and for those who do not like needles, several no-needle treatmentsIt is my Mission to provide an environment where individuals can sit, relax and discuss options for treatments. The treatment plan will be about you and for you. For the areas that bother you the mostI can explain the aging process and how it affects each area, which treatments can lift, volume, support or tone your troublesome area.
