Dr Sara embarked on her surgical training following her graduation from Imperial College London, rotating through many specialities including trauma surgery, plastics surgery, cardio-thoracic and general surgery. Gaining experience from world-leading teaching hospitals, such as St Mary's Hospital and Guys and St Thomas's Hospital, Dr Sara developed a keen interest in minimally invasive surgical interventions. Coupled with her love of art and anatomy, this led to a career in facial aesthetics where Dr Sara applies skills she has amassed from years of training in operating theatres.
Dr Sara is a strong advocate for patient safety, and evidence-based treatment is at the forefront of her practice. She has undertaken a Master's degree in Surgical Innovation, which has allowed her to critically appraise the efficacy and safety of new and emerging treatments before introducing them to her patients. Dr Sara has had extensive training in anatomy during medical school and her surgical career and likes to keep her anatomy knowledge and skills fresh and up-to-date by providing regular cadaver teaching to medical students.
In clinic, Dr Sara assesses patients in a holistic manner, with the aim of balancing and harmonising facial features, taking into account patients' expectations and wishes at all times. Dr Sara believes in natural transformations that remain true to the patients' individual beauty. With a focus on patient safety, Dr Sara regularly attends advanced complications masterclasses and aesthetic conferences, to ensure the best possible outcome for each and very procedure.
In her spare time, Dr Sara enjoys spending time with her two young daughters, reading fantasy novels and travelling abroad.
