Hiya! I’m Rita, a cosmetic doctor at The Bloom Clinic, which is in Canary Wharf. I also work as a cosmetic doctor at one of the leading aesthetic clinic chains in the UK, Destination Skin, at two of their locations. I practice aesthetics as a medical specialty and have attended numerous training courses on advanced aesthetic treatments with the top 3 training providers for medical aesthetic professionals in the UK, as part of my commitment to being a specialist in medical aesthetics. What I love about aesthetics is the ability to combine art with scientific principles and see the happy look on patients’ faces after their treatments. My goal is to have you as my patient, beaming from ear to ear after achieving your skin goals and reversing signs of ageing/sun damage. Nothing makes me happier! Skincare and anti-ageing treatments are my passion and I only suggest treatments that I think will help you after carrying out a thorough assessment. I ensure prices are kept affordable while only stocking premium brands of filler and have the best devices on the market for their indication for eg SkinPen and Dermalux which are regarded as the best on the market in microneedling and LED therapy. We only carry out treatments that have an excellent safety profile and are clinically proven to work. I have attended over 20 courses on dermal filler treatments alone as I believe in continually developing skills and keeping up to date with the safest and most effective techniques to help bring patients their desired results. You'll also notice that my appointments are longer than most other clinics as I want to focus on making you feel comfortable during your consultation and treatment.
I’ve been a medical doctor for 14 years in the NHS working in multiple medical and surgical specialities, including some time working in a public hospital in South Africa. I also have experience in clinical research. I’ve been an NHS GP for the past 6 years but now practice medical aesthetics close to full time.
The Bloom Clinic is fully insured by Hamilton Fraser and will be Save Face accredited over the next few weeks to reflect our commitment to patient safety and sticking to high standards in practising medical aesthetics. We are members of organisations that promote excellence and safe practice within aesthetics - ACE Group, CMAC and JCCP.
We have also partnered with the Trussell Trust charity as it’s a cause that is close to our hearts. For every transaction made to us which is £100 or above, £1 is donated to their cause.
