About

Hi, I’m Kate, the Founder of Tyne Skin Clinic.

Working as a registered nurse in the NHS for the past 12 years, I am proud to hold registration with the NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council).

I left my traditional nursing career at the beginning of 2020 to focus my skills in the clinical branch of aesthetics to create a safe and professional clinic, offering the best up to date treatments for a range of client needs.

Qualified to Level 7 – Injectables in Aesthetic Medicine with additional ‘cosmetic courses‘, I have continued with further training in specialist aesthetic procedures through professionally recognised organisations including ‘Ha-Derma’ and ‘Healthxchange’

As a member of the BACN (British Association of Cosmetic Nurses), I stay up to date with current safe, evidence-based practices and continue to participate in seminars, webinars and online courses.

Testimonials

As someone who is completely useless with skincare but happy to complain about my own woes, Kate has really helped me realize the importance of this. We had a long consultation about my skin problems - dull and patchy skin. Kate suggested the most appropriate treatment - Blue Radiance peel. From the start, I felt relaxed and reassured of what to expect. The acid peel was a little tingly but not unbearable and I loved the results. Going forward Kate prescribed me some Obagi skincare products which I absolutely love and I can honestly say my skin hasn’t felt or looked better !.

Thanks Kate !

I'll be Back :-)
