Throughout Janette’s 35+ years career as a Registered General Nurse, she has striven to achieve the highest qualifications to support her day-to-day practice. In briefly sharing her professional background and aspirations with you, Janette hopes this will ensure your full belief in her credibility and trust as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to offer you the best possible care going forwards with Villa Aesthetica.

Qualifying with a Level 7 Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Aesthetics she is also a founding member of Dr Tim Pearce’s Pro-Injector Community. She holds a First-Class BSc Honours Degree as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and is educated to Level 7 in Leadership and Management and holds Level 6 qualifications in Primary Care; Healthcare Governance; Infection Prevention and Control; Women’s Health; and Sexual Health; Operational Leadership and Coaching and Mentoring qualifications. Janette was also selected to undertake the Queens Nursing Institutes Executive Nurse Leadership Programme in 2019, and the Level 7 Defence Directors Development Programme; completing this in Nov 2022.

As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner of 20 years, Janette is a highly committed, ethical and credible clinician and healthcare leader with a wealth of experience at tactical, operational and strategic levels within Primary Healthcare, in both the National Health Service and Defence Medical Service.

During her 20 year career as a Nursing Officer within Queen Alexandras Royal Navy Nursing Service, Janette was selected as the Defence Specialty Advisor for Primary Healthcare to the Surgeon General and was nominated for and awarded the Honorary Title of Queens Nurse by the Queens Nursing Institute (QNI) in May 16 for her services to Patients within Primary Care. She retired from the Royal Navy in 2023 as a Senior Officer at the rank of Commander, in pursuit of her full-time commitment to her Aesthetics practice.

At Villa Aesthetica, we pride ourselves on professionalism - a concept that encapsulates the knowledge, skill, competence and behaviour of all Clinicians. Janette’s professional approach is aligned to all the following principles:

•	Striving to make certain our Patients receive high quality of care and treatment;

•	Approaching Patients with respect and always protecting your privacy and dignity;

•	Treating Patients with impartiality and acting without discrimination;

•	Acting with honesty and integrity in delivery of care and treatments;

•	Operating with openness and transparency with regards to costs to patients;

•	Ensuring there is no exploitation of patient trust;

•	Acknowledging professional boundaries and working within trained and accredited levels of proficiency, competence and scope of practice;

•	Refreshing of knowledge and skills through continuous professional development to retain clinical currency;

•	Working in partnership with you as patients to ensure shared decision making; informed consent; shared agreements of post treatment and outcome expectations management.

•	Working under tight standards as laid down by JCCP Guidelines

Across her Primary Healthcare nursing career, Janette’s focus has been to create open and trusting professional relationships with patients, especially aiming to raise their self-esteem and feeling of wellbeing. It is this philosophy that led her to further specialising in Aesthetics.

Janette’s vast experience in Healthcare Governance and Assurance has been fully exploited to ensure Villa Aesthetica is designed to meet Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards as a dedicated medical facility (not as a beauty salon).

CQC Inspection of Villa Aesthetica is pending, however you can be assured that we are working extremely hard in our aspiration to achieve an overall target of ‘Outstanding’ for our inaugural inspection against CQCs five specific domains to measure whether our facility is: Safe; Effective; Caring; Responsive; and Well Led.

Villa Aesthetica’s day to day operational delivery also aligns with the Codes of Practice expectations of the Joint Council of Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP) as Regulators in the industry and the Cosmetic Practice Standards Authority (CPSA) with regards to evidence-based practice standards. These are underpinned by Parts One and Two of the Health Education England Guidance on Non-Surgical Cosmetic Procedures guidance. Janette holds Registration with JCCP and is also fully indemnified for medical malpractice and personal liability.
